Narrative

Corporal Dutschke and Patrolman Clarence Evans were killed when their patrol wagon was struck by another vehicle at the intersection of 7th and Chestnut Streets at 10:55 pm. Corporal Dutschke was killed instantly and Patrolman Evans succumbed to his injuries two (2) days later. 

Corporal Dutschke had served with the Louisville Division of Police for eight (8) years. He is survived by his wife, five (5) daughters, four (4) sons, two (2) brothers, and two (2) sisters.
