Narrative

Officer Distler served with the Louisville Division of Police from 1918 until his death. He died of medical complications due to a leg injury that he suffered on-duty the month before his death.

He is survived by his wife, two (2) daughters, son, brother, six (6) grandchildren, and two (2) great-grandchildren.
