Narrative

Patrolman Rapson was killed in a motorcycle accident while on patrol on Hikes Lane between Hikes Point and Bardstown Road. His motorcycle skidded and then fell on him, causing serious head injuries.

Patrolman Rapson had served on the department for 11 years. He is survived by his wife, three (3) sons, two (2) daughters, two (2) stepsons, three (3) brothers, and two (2) grandchildren.
